Southeast Raleigh (N.C.) quarterback Dylan Parham is a prospect on the rise. Recently, he picked up his first scholarship offer

"Old Dominion offered me earlier this month," said Dylan Parham. "It was unexpected, but it definitely felt good to get my first offer. It feels like my hard work is paying off."

The Monarchs are not the only school showing interest in the Southeast Raleigh star.

"Louisville, Miami of Ohio and UNC-Charlotte all stopped by and talked to my coach about me during the evaluation period," said the 6-foot-4, 190-pound Parham. "NC State, Georgia, Tennessee and Florida have also sent me mail."

The summer will be a busy time for Parham.

"I'm camping at UNC on June 8, Duke on June 11, ECU on June 15, NC State on June 16 and ODU on June 22 and maybe Wake Forest at some point," he said.

He excited about his upcoming season.

"I'm definitely going to have to be more of a leader this fall," Parham said. "Our main goals are to win the conference and make a deep run in the playoffs. It's going to take hard work. Individually, I just want to be a better all-around player."
