In-State Tight End Nearing Decision

Three-star Jacksonville Atlantic Coast tight end Chris Cunningham is hoping to make a commitment to play college football next week sometime.

“For right now it looks like Virginia Tech, Louisville, UCF, and North Carolina, Cunningham said.

His main decision factors are the relationship he has with the coaches, teammates, and the community around the University he chooses to attend. Also factoring in is the graduation rate of athletes at the University.

Cunningham was told he was “high on the list” at the Will Muschamp football camp but looked the other way when an offer didn’t fall on the table in time.

“I took Florida out after I went to camp, basically because I’m getting ready to commit pretty soon and they haven’t offered me.”

Nearing the end of his road trip to visit schools, Cunningham says “I’m taking some visits this weekend and then I will be getting ready to commit after that.”

Entering his senior year at Atlantic Coast High School, Cunningham is focused on a few improvements.

“My route running and just understanding the game a little bit more before I head to college because I’m enrolling early, in January, so I’m just trying to work on those things before I get there.”
