Pensacola (Fla.) Escambia High School strong safety prospect Terik Miller has camped with several FBS programs this summer in search of his sixth scholarship offer. The 6-foot-0 and 197-pound rising senior is coming off camp performances at Tennessee and Florida that will keep him on both schools radar this fall. Miller will camp at South Florida tonight.
The Volunteers already have two commitments at safety for the 2015 recruiting class but have told Miller they plan on continuing to watch and recruit him this fall.
”It went great. The coaches loved me. They told me to keep in touch that they like my size and physicality I had and I ran a good time. They have 23 commitments so we will see how it plays out in the fall,” Miller said of the Volunteers interest.
Miller took part in Florida’S Friday Night Lights camp in Gainesville yesterday and apparently left a very good impression on Florida defensive backs coach Travaris Robinson.
”Coach T-Rob loved me and he gave me his number. I am supposed to text him today after their staff meeting and see what happens but I had a great night last night,” Miller said of camping with the Gators.
The hard-hitting defender will camp with USF tonight and says he has been told by USF coaches that an offer is likely with a strong camp performance.
