Rapid Recap: Gator offense good and bad

Cody Jones and Amanda Wood break down the offense from Saturday night including Jeff Driskel's good and bad moments...

Jeff Driskel came out firing deep and just missed on several deep balls early in the game. With the deep passing game in action, the Kentucky defense was teeing off and making it tough on Driskel to get in the flow of the game. Some half time adjustments helped things out and Driskel settled down a bit in the second half.

The star of the day was Demarcus Robinson and his 216 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Robinson seemed to be everywhere Driskel needed to be on the night and some team records were left in his wake. Robinson has distanced himself as the best player at the position on this squad and will certainly be a target of Driskel more often as we continue the season.

Finally, Matt Jones was a workhorse on the night. the Gators leaned on Jones 29 times for 156 yards on the night and when they needed to finish the game, they saddled up with the big junior back and rode him throughout the third overtime and right into the end zone for the winning touchdown.

It was a up and down night for the offense, who put up yards but not points in the first half before finding the end zone after halftime. Cody and Amanda talk about all of it.
