It is a huge week for the Florida program as the Gators travel to Knoxville (Tenn.) to take on the Tennessee Vols. The Gators need a win badly against a Vol squad that is still trying to prove they belong. The odds makers have it really close here.
For Florida there are some personnel changes expected. The defense is the main one and the Gators expect to move Brian Poole to the NICKEL spot to play the slot receivers that have given the secondary a lot of problems in the last two games. Poole lived at the NICKEL position a year agp and played very well, but that move means a true freshman will have to play on the outside at corner, either Jalen Tabor or Quincy Wilson will assume that role.
Regardless of who is playing the spot, the Gators know they have their hands full with the Vols passing game.Florida head coach Will Muschamp reiterated on Monday that he won't be making a change at quarterback. Jeff Driskel is still the guy taking the snaps, but Muschamp says Treon Harris will be ready if his name is called on Saturday or at any time.
We switched up a bot and talked about recruiting on this particular segment. The Gators are finding themselves playing catch up on some prospects and it is about how you wuld expect things to go given the current climate we are seeing in and around Gainesville.
