Video: "I don't think he can hang with us"

Florida sophomore linebacker Jarrad Davis says the Gators defense will be ready for what the Tennessee offense brings to the table...

Despite all of the negative aura around the football program lately, the team and staff have been pretty upbeat and positive in their stance heading into the game with Tennessee this weekend. Maybe non more so than sophomore middle linebacker Jarrad Davis did in the interview room this week.

Davis sounded off a little bit about playing the upstart Volunteers who seem to have a little swagger about themselves after playing some pretty tough football through the first four games and despite finishing just 2-2 in those games.

Davis had a few words for Tennessee freshman running back Jalen Hurd after Hurd rushed for over 100 yards against Georgia last weekend. Florida's reserve middle linebacker looks to either start or play a lot more against the Vols after an injury to senior starter Michael Taylor forced him to miss most of the practice time in the last two weeks.

The confidence is apparent in the young man, watch the video and see for yourself.
