Scout Spotlight: Gator target Jeff Holland

Whoever the new head coach at Florida is, one of his primary targets in this 2015 recruiting class will be Jacksonville Trinity Christian 4-star linebacker Jeff Holland.

Not many prospects in the 2015 class have visited the University of Florda campus than Jeff Holland. The do everything linebacker has been a huge target for the Gators for a few years now and has shown his interest in the school and program for quite some time.

The new Gator coaches will face stuff competition for Holland from the likes of Auburn and UCLA when they arrive and there is no doubt they will have to put their work in to get him.

As big linebacker, Holland can rush the passer with the best of them. He is athletic enough to play receive and running back at 6-foot-3 and 240 pounds and he also punts the ball for TC.

Scout.com national analyst Jamie Newberg had a lot to say about Holland.

"Holland is a two-way star at running back and linebacker," Newberg said. "He’s an aggressive and physical downhill player that can go sideline to sideline and play inside out. He can take on blocks and fill the hole. Holland is a big hitter and not afraid of contact. As a pass rusher, he has the size, speed and athleticism to dominate the edge. He shows deceptive agility and quickness."
