Not a tough decision for St. Louis

The list of offensive linemen on the official visit at Florida this weekend included seven giant men. One of the more sought after prospects in attendance was Miami commitment Tyree St. Louis of Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy. There were some things in Gainesville that made him think a little bit.

For the Gators the thing is simple. They absolutely need offensive linemen and they need them ready to play when they show up on campus. An Under Armour All-American, St. Louis was a day late to practices in Orlando in early January but was impressive from his first snap going against the best players in high school football.

For St. Louis, the trip offered an opportunity to check out the Flagship school of the state and show what the Florida program has to offer. He got an eye full.

"I thought I was going to have a good time at Florida and I did,” St. Louis told Florida recruiting analyst Corey Bender. “My favorite part was when we got to sit down and talk one-on-one with the players and coaches."

His last visit is over and St. Louis admits he has some things to think over in terms of his commitment.

"I'm going to make everything official where I'm going in a couple of days,” he said. “I still have my commitment to Miami for right now though."

As far as the time and day of his upcoming announcement, "I don’t know yet."

While he certainly gave no definitive remarks here about his future, St. Louis says that final decision that will come pretty soon, the massive lineman says it "won't be too tough".

Stay tuned as we follow the recruitment of Tyree St. Louis and the rest of the prospects on the Florida recruiting board as we count down to signing day on Wednesday.
