Monster lineman with offer loves Gators

For the second year in a row it is imperative for the Florida Gators to find several offensive linemen for their recruiting class. They are looking high and low and may have found a possible colossal sized gem and not very far from campus.

Jacksonville Raines High School is home to one Florida commitment with speedy receiver Rick Wells in the fold among the Gators three commitments. But, Florida has also offered an offensive lineman at Raines. Massive 6-foot-5, 345 pound offensive tackle Solomon Kindley has the one offer, but is starting to get noticed by others. He’s hearing a lot from Florida, UCF, South Carolina, Cincinnati, Missouri, Rutgers and more, but the Gators are the first to pull the trigger.

Florida offensive line coach Mike Summers has been in constant contact with the coach at Raines and Kindley knows that the Gators see him as a right tackle. He says the gators probably like the fact that he is an aggressive player.

I play mean and hard,” Kindley said Tuesday. “I love running the ball and trying to score every time we have the ball.”

Kindley had a planned trip to Gainesville last week derailed, but says Florida is a school he is highly interested in.

“I was supposed to go last weekend but something came up on the way getting there,” he said. “I don't know when the next time will be. I love Florida. It's a dream school from when I was a kid.”

His name is new on the scene, but we will continue to monitor the recruitment of Solomon Kindley.
