At 6-foot-1 and 215 pounds Tony Jones has the power to run continuously inside the tackles. But, with that size comes deceptive speed and quickness and Jones is also a home run threat and a back that can score from anywhere on the field.
When watching the video below you will see that Jones tries to stay away from contact with defenders, he doesn't seek out anyone to run them over. In doing so, he has an innate ability to run through arm tackles because defenders rarely get a full hit and wrap on the big back. He has quick feet to kind of bounce off of would-be tacklers and then get to the next level.
He is a home run threat, even without maybe the top end speed of some of the nation's best, he is still plenty fast and with that size and overall ability, it makes him one of the best.
Watch the video below of some of his junior highlights and judge for yourself.
