It has been a growing concern for fans and of course administrators, but attendance has been dropping at Florida Field, otherwise known as The Swamp. In no small part due to the lackluster football, especially on offense, that has been on display for the better part of four plus years, the crowds have been less than full and less than inspired moments after kickoff.
That needs to change.
The Swamp, when primed, is one of, if not the most, feared atmospheres in all of college sports. We should already be prepared for a season of questions, so the fans need to come out and help the best that they can.
Also, it isn’t about putting you fanny in your seat. It is time to make some noise. In the course of the last few decades Florida has been known as the loudest or at least one of the loudest venues for opponents to play at. That has waned as well. But, it is time to get back to business as fans and will your team to victory. They are going to need that a couple of times this season.
