By now we all know about the numbers along the offensive line. Florida finished the spring with six scholarship healthy bodies in the unit. With senior Trip Thurman questionable about returning, Florida has no other upperclassmen along the offensive line.
There are six true freshmen coming in and a possible transfer or two, but the numbers are too low. To complicate matters, the youth and inexperience is going to have to be on the field. That same youth and inexperience will have to compete daily in practice and weekly on the field against older, more mature bodies and that in itself lends itself to injury.
The fact is the offensive line will be a work in progress and this year is not anything we will be able to really judge it on. But, staying healthy would make it much easier to finish as good as they can and the only hope for the offense to be even slightly successful in 2015.
Our with for the 94th day before kickoff is for a healthy offensive line in 2015.
