Vegas not high on the Gators this fall

The early betting lines are out for college football games this fall, and they don’t look good for Florida.

The Golden Nugget released its lines for many college football games this fall, including seven of Florida’s games. The Gators aren’t favored to win any of the seven that were released.

The sports book lists Tennessee as a 2.5-point favorite at Florida on September 26. The following week, the Gators host Ole Miss, who is a six-point favorite at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium.

After that difficult back-to-back stretch, Florida goes back on the road to face Missouri. The Golden Nugget lists the Tigers as a 10-point favorite in that game. The Gators stay on the road the following week and is listed as a 14-point underdog at LSU.

The two straight road games are followed by the neutral site game with Georgia. The Bulldogs are a 12-point favorite in that game. In Florida’s three October games, Vegas projects the Gators to go 0-3 while losing the three by a combined 36 points.

Florida finishes the Southeastern Conference portion of its schedule at South Carolina on November 14. The Gamecocks are a 2.5-point favorite in Columbia.

The regular season ends with the Gators’ annual showdown with Florida State. The Seminoles are currently a four-point favorite in The Swamp.
