Tyler Jordan comes to Florida as an Under Armour All-American offensive lineman out of Bishop Kenny High School in Jacksonville. A two-way lineman for the Crusaders, Jordan brings that nasty mentality found in defensive linemen to the offensive side of the ball.
With offers to go almost anywhere in the south, Jordan chose his childhood favorite Gators and became the class recruiting magnet, staying on his classmates to help finish with a strong class.
He is well liked and with his intelligence he looks to compete right away at the center position. Jordan has worked hard and at 6-foot-4, he played around the 270 to 275 pound mark in high school. He now weighs in at 292 pounds and should be physically ready to compete in the SEC.
The Gators will need him to make a move this year and assert himself into the depth chart and that is what we expect from Jordan as a freshman.
