Telfort jumps on the Gator train for 2017

The Florida Gators continue to make a run in south Florida for top recruits.

Kadeem Telfort has made a big switch. Telling Scout’s Corey Bender early Tuesday that he was decommitting from Miami and committing to Florida, Telfort adds another big time prospect to the Gators 2017 class and all from South Florida.

The Miami Norland lineman camped with the Gators back in June and offensive line coach Mike Summers really made an impression on the young man. At 6-foot-6 and 305 pounds Telfort has really improved his stock a great deal in the last several months and became a hot commodity on the recruiting trail.

Telfort joins Jake Allen from St. Thomas Aquinas and Lavarus Tigner of Deerfield Beach as the three members in the 2017 class for the Gators, a class that now has a really strong start to it.

Stay tuned as we get more from Telfort on his commitment to Florida.
