Redshirt freshman Khairi Clark was expected to play a year ago but things didn’t work out that was for the now 6-foot-2, 315 pound plug in the middle of the defensive line.
In his junior and senior years he accumulated 100 tackles and 16 sacks for Hollywood Chaminade – Madonna earning his right to play in the 2014 Under Armour All-American Game.
In better shape now in his second year on campus, Clark is expected to get playing time in the defensive tackle rotation in 2015.
Redshirt sophomore center Cameron Dillard spent the entire spring as the starter at the center position. He played little last year and in clean up spots, and was signed by Florida as the number four center in America according to Scout.
Dillard will be in competition with a couple of true freshmen on campus but will likely get the nod when fall practice starts in August. If he can establish himself as the center it may allow for others to be moved around and contribute alongside him. This is a big preseason coming up for Dillard.
