In his third year on campus, redshirt sophomore Antonio Riles has been able to really grasp the technical things he needs to know to be an offensive lineman after being recruited to Florida to play defense.
Riles played in four games a year ago and was one of the top backups as a freshman. He spent the whole spring working at guard and will compete with Travaris Dorsey for the right guard spot now that Trip Thurman is back and healthy.
At 6-foot-4 and 322 pounds he has the size and is actually one of the more veteran linemen on the team and will certainly play a significant role in how the offensive line and the offense performs this season.
Riles hails from Archer HS in Lawrenceville (Ga.) and was a four-star prospect at defensive end when he arrived on campus in 2013.
Here is a throwback video when from Florida camp 2012 when he was being recruited by the Gators.
