Hollywood Bob’s Midday Matinee (8/18/15)

Just when you thought things were staying constant… they change. And this time for the good.

Jim McElwain has been pressing his team through fall practices and is working with an offense with a ton of new parts. The going has been tough so far on offense, but some changes in the direction of camp have us feeling a lot better about things.

We go into some detail about why these changes are doing good things inside with our latest Hollywood Bob’s Midday Matinee.

We also delve into most of the players making noise on both sides of the ball.

Both Treon Harris and Will Grier are doing some nice things. We talk about Kelvin Taylor and Jordan Scarlett at running back.

We know what we get in receivers Demarcus Robinson, Brandon Powell, and Ahmad Fulwood. Are there others stepping up?

We will fill you in on the starting offensive line and you might be surprised at the way it is shaping up at this point. I give you my nine guys up front that I think are headed for playing time this season, at least at this point in practice.

A few defensive linemen are dominant and we talk about a few new ones that are ready to play.

At linebacker, there isn’t much news, but we do discuss the position.

In the secondary, how are the young guys faring? We discuss that as well.

Come give us a try and check out Hollywood Bob’s Midday Matinee at the following link and join the discussion which usually brings out more nuggets that might have been glossed over. It is already a wild thread inside and we know you will learn a lot and enjoy what we have going on.
