“I came back because I like when Tennessee plays Florida... it’s always a big rivalry game,” Woods said shortly after the contest. “Tennessee had Florida on the ropes, but I guess it’s a Florida tradition even back when Tennessee was a great team. They (Tennessee) are a good team and I can see them on the rise every year.”
So what did he take from the contest, which featured a Florida team down by 13 with less than five minutes and scored 14 unanswered points to take the 28-27 v
“There is something about that person and when they have that certain ability to say ‘we are going to get this touchdown’,” Woods said. “Coach Phil has installed in us that we are going to get the win. We have to put the work in and we are going to win.”
As for the atmosphere in The Swamp, he hasn’t seen it quite like that in the numerous times he has been there.
“It was crazy, it was C-R-A-Z-Y,” he exclaimed. “I had to plug my ears up because it was so loud at times. They really love their football here.”
Woods says he will probably make it three trips in four games when Ole Miss comes to town this weekend coming up.
“I will probably be back this week for the Ole Miss game, because my cousin plays for Ole Miss,” Woods said. “He is #36 for Zedrick Woods. Hopefully I will get to see them.”
