From South Florida, Emmanuel Green now attends IMG Academy in Bradenton and is friends with Antonio Callaway (known as A.D., the star of the game who scored the game winning touchdown and was the biggest target for quarterback Will Grier on the night.
“I thought it was pretty good game,” Greene said. “My boy A.D. from back home scored the winning touchdown that was big knowing he was a true freshman.”
Greene noticed how many young guys are getting into the action with Florida and he liked it.
“There is a whole lot of opportunity,” he said. “They are out there giving these guys opportunities. They gave A.D. a lot of touches in the game and let him get in a rhythm in the game.”
The game was intense and crazy until the end.
“The atmosphere was amazing,” Greene said. “These fans out here are amazing as well. They stuck in the game even when they were 14 points down with five minutes to go. The atmosphere was ridiculous.”
The atmosphere had him ready to return.
“I will definitely make it back for the Florida – Florida State game and probably next week (against Ole Miss),” he said.
As far as the staff, they need his skill set on board.
“They just like how I’m a game changer and bring speed to the game, the excitement, the passion I have, and how explosive I am,” he said.
