There is little doubt that things have turned a good deal in a positive direction along the recruiting trail for the Florida Gators in the last several months. That seems to have stepped up a few notches since the season began and the Gators have been on a roll.
We caught up with several prospects that watched the game on Saturday or have a thought about the Gators given the season they are having. This is what they had to say…
Thompson: “The Gator defense is relentless. I’m just happy I get to practice against that defense and get better.”
Perine: “I feel like we balanced it out well and Scarlett and Taylor ran hard. The defense played lights out.”
Nixon: “It was a good game, I enjoyed watching it. They ran the ball really well and passed the ball good towards the second quarter and on, they also won the turnover battle.”
Wells: “The Gators played well. The offense started slow, but dominated the second half. The defense was swarming.”
Heggie: “Big win! It’s always good to win that one.”
Forsythe: “It was a really good game and the defense stepped up and played. The offense capitalized when they needed to.”
Tatum: “It was a good game for Florida. It was the first Florida – Georgia game I have actually sat down and watched. I was very impressed.”
Pineiro: “Florida played great! They keep looking stronger and stronger.”
Peacock: “I thought it was a great game.”
Judson: "The championship Gator team is coming back and I like it a lot. I saw a lot of young guys making big plays like a Vet.:
On next trip to Gainesville: “After I visit Bama this coming week I'll be up there for every home game.”
Herring: “I didn’t watch it, but the Florida staff is doing an excellent job.”
Georgia commit Dallas: "They're doing a great good and it's not going unnoticed."
Copeland: "I knew Florida would win. I had faith in the gators the whole entire week. I just knew they had that win easily."
