Jim McElwain listed four players as likely out for the game against Florida State in The Swamp on Saturday at 7:30 p.m., all four on the defensive line.
Senior Jonathan Bullard, Junior Alex McCalister, sophomore Jordan Sherit, and redshirt freshman Taven Bryan are all listed as out for the big rivalry match up. Bullard has had a remarkable senior season and leads the team in tackles for loss (10.5) and second in sacks (4.5), but his leadership has been huge up front. McCalister leads the team in sacks (6.5) and has been a menace as a pass rusher. Sherit missed the last two games and was playing very solid when he went down. Bryan was hurt Saturday when he returned a fumble 40 yards on Saturday in the 20-14 overtime win over FAU to set up the first touchdown for the Gators.
McElwain lists starting left guard Martez Ivie and starting center Cam Dillard as questionable along with defensive tackle Joey Ivie who has missed the last few games and starting slot receiver Brandon Powell who injured his foot in the game on Saturday but played through it.

Senior linebacker Antonio Morrison leads the team in tackles and was also hurt as well in the game but is listed as probable. Starting left tackle David Sharpe continues to be banged up but is playing through it, he is probable for the FSU game. Sophomore defensive tackle Caleb Brantley was hurt and battling a virus in the game, but is listed as possible for the game.
With the injuries up front, Florida had to burn the redshirt of freshman Keivonnis Davis, a lightning quick pass rusher from Miami who performed admirably on Saturday. He will likely see more playing time this week. Also, sophomore guard Antonio Riles was moved over on Thursday of last week to defensive tackle and he played this past Saturday and performed at a pretty high level for someone that hasn’t played that side of the ball in a few years. Riles will get a week of practice this week to help the defense.
Freshman Tyler Jordan was inserted into the lineup when Ivey went down on Saturday and Jordan played very well. McElwain talked up his play and Riles play on Monday.
We also saw sophomore Matt Rolin get some playing time at linebacker with the injuries the Gators sustained. He had a good week of practice leading up and could provide some valuable depth at a thin position.
