With nine visitors this weekend the Gators got a couple of surprises. One commitment was a bit unforeseen and then one prospect that attended the weekend in Gainesville de-committed. In Jordan Smith, the Gators get a 4-star defensive end that they really like, even if they were expecting to get Smith this quickly.
Then the de-commitment from receiver Isaih Johnson comes along and a little bit of a surprise. We discuss what is going on with Johnson and the rest of the receiver board for the Gators.
Offensive ;line recruiting is going to be spicy as we head down the home stretch of this recruiting cycle. We talk a little bit about what is going on including the two prospects that visited this weekend.
New offers are still going out at linebacker, but we think the Gators are sitting in a good spot at the position. Come check out what we are feeling at this point in December.
Is Jordan Smith the last defensive end to be in the class? We don't think so. WE ;et ypu know what we are thinking there as well.
The running back position has been settled for a while in the class. But at least one school is coming on hard for Lamical Perine. Is there anything to worry about? We discuss.
The Gators have a nice secondary class, but they don't want to be done with that unit just yet. Two stand out as prospects that the staff wants badly? Are there more involved? What do we think about these two?
Finally, quarterback is still the most talked about. Florida loves the two guys they have in Feleipe Franks and Kyle Trask. But, Jacob Eason is the one we all want to hear about. We have some very interesting insights into the recruitment and stuff you won't find anywhere else.
