Hollywood Bob's Gators' Recruiting Matinee (11/18/16)

Here is an in-depth and up-to-date look at the Gators recruiting targets after the first visit weekend in January and as we head down the homestretch this recruiting cycle.

The Gators hosted several top prospects this past weekend. Although the non-committed prospects on the trip weren't expected to jump on board the recruiting train just yet, Florida was hoping to make a splash with some on campus and the effects of the visit we won't know the ful extent of for a while, but we can tell you what we have heard...

Florida got visits from two of the top offensive linemen on their board in Landon Dickerson and John Simpson over the weekend. We give you our insiders take on what is happening with those two after their visit.

The Gators played host to a couple of All-American linebackers as well in Jaleel Laguins and Dontavious Jackson. Does Florida have a real shot with either guy after the visit?  We talk about that inside.

There were also a lot of Gator targets on the road visiting elsewhere on the first weekend following the dead period.  A lot of smoke was in the air about prospects like receivers Nate Craig-Myers, Eli Stove, Tyrie Cleveland, and Tre Nixon, of which the gators would love to land at least one of that group.

At least one Gator tight end prospect was visiting elsewhere this weekend  in Nick Eubanks and we discuss our thoughts on him at this point.

On the defensive line, Brian Burns took an official visit to Georgia and that trip went well. What does it mean for the Gators?  Also Gator commitment Antonneous Clayton is considering a late month trip to Auburn after he visits Florida next weekend, what does that mean?

More linebackers to discuss as Mack Wilson visited Georgia and Josh Uche visited Auburn over the weekend. The Gators certainly would like to add at least one more linebacker to the class.

Finally, Kristian Fulton came out and mentioned LSU as his favorite he's the Gators main target in the secondary, but may not be the only one. Is Florida going to make another run at JayVaughn Myers after his decommitment?  What about the trip that Gator commit safety Jeawon Taylor took to Georgia?

We give you a lot of what we know and have heard about all of this and more in the latest Hollywood Bob's Recruiting Matinee.
