"They just want me up there to join the family."
"It was amazing, everybody was welcoming me. They were like Vosean we missed you and everything," he added. "They took me around and showed me a bunch of stuff...They already know that I like the school and everything."
The three-star Gators linebacker pledge is very familiar with Gainesville and the University of Florida, however, this was a chance for him to learn more about the environment and the players.
"It was good," he said. "The players are chill and laid back, but they put in work."
Fellow Miami native, Florida wide receiver Antonio Callaway hosted Joseph on his visit.
"He just told me when I get up there to put in work and all that because they get in."
Joseph also received the reassurance he needed from the staff.
"When you look at the depth chart, they said we don't have a lot of players," he said, "and I'm taking that into my consideration because I want to play my freshman year and thats the biggest thing for me."
Joseph will now focus all of his attention on coming to a final decision.
"I'm still considering Alabama," he said. " I'm still undecided where I am going, but I know where my heart is and that is with UF."
According to Joseph, at his parents suggestion, he will make a pros and cons list this week and make the official announcement on signing day.
"[Looking at] How many people they got in the league, how the school is, how many people graduate, and how the education is."
