Gators Offer Five at Junior Day

Florida held its first junior day on Saturday, where they offered five prospects. FightinGators.com takes a look at new names on the board.

Florida has five new targets on the board. The Gators offered five during its first junior day, here is a breakdown of the new offerees: 

Latavious Brini holds offers from KentuckyLouisvilleNC StateSyracuse and Temple. The 2017 cornerback from Hialeah (Fla.) Mater Academy Charter High was once committed to Temple, but has since reopened his recruitment. 

The Gators are 2017 Cairo (Ga.) lineabacker Walter Grant's first offer.  

Christopher Henderson is one of the top athletes in the 2017 class. The playmaker from Miami (Fla.) Christopher Columbus High already holds offers from AlabamaGeorgia, Kentucky, Miami, Louisville, USC  and West Virginia among others. 

The Gators are the second school to offer Amari Burney. The 2018 Central Catholic athlete also holds an offer from the Canes.  

Jashawn Sheffield might only be a 2019 prospect, but it's smart of Florida to get on the athelte from Georgia early. Sheffiled already holds offers from the likes of Georgia, Tennessee and West Virginia.
