2017 Gators Board: Quarterbacks

With National Signing Day behind us, FightinGators.com takes a look at where Florida stands in the 2017 class-first up are the quarterbacks.

National signing day is in the rear view window and now Florida is focusing on the 2017 class. FightinGators.com will take a look at the board by position starting with the quarterbacks.

Here is what the board looks like:

Jake Allen committed to the Gators in July last year, and has continued to sit well with the The standout out of Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) St. Thomas Aquinas chose Florida over offers from Miami RutgersNC State, and Pittsburgh among others. He continues to talk about recruiting others to join him in the Swamp, so he remains solid to Jim McElwain and his staff -honestly hard to see this changing.

Although it is very unlikely Florida takes more than one quarterback in this class, lets break down the remaining targets.

Bailey Hockman is a four-star quarterback from McEachern High School in Powder Springs, Georgia. He holds offers from AlabamaUSCFlorida StateGeorgiaLouisvilleMiamiMichigan and Michigan State among others. Hockman initially committed to the Dawgs last June, but reopened his recruitment back up in December, when Mark Richt left.

N'Kosi Perry, like Hockman, decommitted after a coaching change. The four-star signal caller from Ocala, Florida had previously committed to Miami. He now holds offers from Georgia, Louisville, Tennessee, Virginia Tech, Miami, West Virginia and UCF.

Stay tuned to FightinGators.com this week, as we continue to break down each position.
