One School Has Edge for Robinson

Four-star wide receiver, James Robinson, told National Recruiting Analyst Chad Simmons that Clemson has the slight edge in his recruitment currently, however, Florida has become to move up for the Lakeland junior. When FightinGators.com last spoke to the wide out, he referred to Torrian Gray, new UF defensive backs coach, as one of the reasons Florida has moved up the ranks.

New Jersey Athlete Familiar with New UF Assistant

Three-star athlete Markquese Bell is no longer under the radar. He has picked up several offers and the Gators have ben recruiting him pretty hard lately. The New Jersey native told Scout National Recruiting Analyst Brian Dohn that coach Gray has also had a significant impact on him. 

"Coach Gray is on me all the time," said Bell. "They want me down there at the Swamp, he is a great guy." 

Bell knew the defensive back coach when he coached at Virginia Tech.

American Heritage Linebacker Hopes to Visit

Three-star linebacker James Houston IV is planning to visit every school that has offered him. The American Heritage standout tells Scout that he has a great relationship with Randy Shannon and is looking forward to seeing the city of Gainesville, the facilities and the school soon.

Gamble Decommits from Miami

Four-star tight end Kemore Gamble decided on Tuesday morning to decommit from Miami. The Southridge High School playmaker continues to say that Florida is in it. The Gators were a childhood dream school. 

"They talked to me a lot," said Gamble in an interview with Simmons this past week. "They talk to me about my family and my grades. They talk about stuff I like to hear."

Top 2018 CB Has Florida on Short List

Tyson Campbell is one of the best defensive backs in the 2018 class and he already has four schools standing out. He told Chad Simmons, Clemson, Florida, LSU and Georgia are the school standing out so far. 

This is what he had to say about the Gators:

"Grew up watchingFlorida," he said. "Over the past few years they have produced good DBs and they have pretty good corners right now like Jalen Tabor"
