Bullard thankful for returning

It doesn't always work out, but when the NFL tells you that you should return for another year of college football and it would benefit you, they are usually right. They couldn't have been more right than with Jonathan Bullard.

Bullard had a terrific season for the Gators in 2015. He finished with 66 tackles, a whopping 17.5 tackles for loss, 6.5 sacks, 2 passes defensed, and 6 quarterback hurries

More than those numbers show, maybe Bullard's biggest attribute he showed was his unselfishness on the field. A guy that was recruited as a defensive end, Bullard told the coaching staff when he returned that he was willing to do whatever they needed to help win ball games, and that meant playing a lot inside.

It has all paid of now and Bullard is poised to go high in the NFL draft. What looked more like a 3rd to 5th round future for him, now looks like there is a chance at the 1st round.

Bullard talks about coming back, the things that got him to where he is and why he isn't going to chance being in New York at the draft on draft day in the video above.
