Spring evaluation period is upon us and it's about to get really busy. The Florida coaching staff will start hitting the road next Monday to check in on talent across the country. However until then the staff remain busy and continue to look at talent across the country.
Four-star tight end, Matt Dotson picked up an offer from UF this week. Although the Gators secured the pledge of four-star South Florida native, Kemore Gamble, they want to add one more tight end to the class before everything is said or done. Dotson, who hails from Ohio, currently holds offers from: Michigan, Michigan State, Ohio State, Tennessee, Penn State, among others. His last visit was to Michigan State. The Spartans have been one school that continues to stand out and receive visits from the playmaker.
The Gators also offered Texas pledge, Major Tennison. The Bullard (Tx.) High tight end recently made a trip to Alabama, after the Crimson Tide offered. Michigan, Arkansas, Nebraska and Oklahoma State all are in pursuit of the committed playmaker. Tennison right now is solid to Texas. He has been a long fan of the Longhorns, however, as his visit to 'Bama proves, he is willing to listen to schools. It will be interesting to see how a few weeks of talking to the Gators will affect him.
Several top Florida targets from IMG Academy was on campus on Friday including: Brian Hightower, Curtis Dunlap, Dylan Moses and Cesar Ruiz to name a few.

Ole Miss, Clemson, Nebraska, Alabama and Texas A&M are also schools
2018 OL Keeping An Eye on Florida
Curtis Dunlap Jr. is another IMG standout Florida has high on its board in the 2018 class. According to his recent interview with Bender, the four-star says Oklahoma has pulled ahead right now. However, the Gators remain a school he is keeping an eye on.
"I grew up being close to Florida," he said. "When I go home, I'm definitely going to make sure I make visits there."
Unlike many out of state transplants to IMG, Dunlap is originally from Jacksonville, Florida.
