Gators Coaches on the road Thursday, April 28

The Florida Gator football staff has been busy casting a net over the state during this first week of spring evaluations. On Thursday they are split up and hitting both ends of the state at the same time. South Florida is a huge area for big time prospects and seven assistants will be in Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach Counties getting in front of prospects on Thursday. Two assistants will be in the Panhandle trying to make it known that the Gators are lurking.

Florida is making a concentrated effort to recruit the in-state talent and with that in mind the staff is pushing hard to do what they have to in order for the best prospects in the state to stay home for the premiere school in The Sunshine State.

This week the staff has hit parts of Northeast Florida, the Space Coast, and Orlando. They traveled down to the Southwest corner of the state on Tuesday to see Ft. Myers, Naples, etc. Wednesday was a big day for the Tampa area.  Thursday the Gator staff plans on dividing to conquer the opposite ends of the state in South Florida and the Panhandle. Here is where they expect to be on Thursday.

Offensive coordinator Doug Nussmeier will be on the road in palm Beach County and checking in on Palm Beach Dwyer High School along with Riviera Beach Suncoast defensive end K'Jakyre Daley,  Palm Beach Gardens athlete Amari Carter,  Oxbridge Academy corner Traivon Leonard and Oxbridge defense end Jonathan Garvin.

Miami Central will get a visit from Shannon as he goes to look at 4-star offensive tackle Navaughn Donaldson(Miami commit), outside linebacker Waynmon Steed (Miami commit), receiver Carmoni Green, and 2019 running back James Cook (FSU commit).

While there is a big concentration in South Florida, the staff is split up and a couple are headed to the opposite corner of the state and in the Panhandle.

Tight end coach Greg Nord will be hitting schools on the way to Tallahassee from Gainesville on Thursday including Wakulla HS, Fort White, Columbia, Taylor County, and Mayo Lafayette.
