Florida  Career:

Hargreaves has been a gamer since he arrived at Florida as a five-star cornerback out of high school. He started all but the first two games of his college career and was a play maker form day one. Hargreaves finished with 10 career interceptions, three in his freshman and sophomore seasons and four as a junior. Double digit passes broken up in his first two years were offset by a different defense in his last where had just four. A solid tackler he finished with 113 tackles in his three years. One of the more impressive things about Hargreaves is that he played basically his entire junior season with an significant injury and played through the pain.

In his final season he was a First Team All-American and All-SEC as well as a finalist for the Jim Thorpe Award. As a sophomore he also earned multiple Fist Team All-American honors and led the SEC with 13 pass break ups.

Expert Breakdown:  “While scouts have voiced some concerns about Hargreaves' size and recovery speed, you won't find anyone who doesn't admire his competitiveness and consistency of production. Hargreaves has a level of suddenness and explosiveness in his movements that should always have him near the ball. With top-notch ball skills and exceptional instincts that drew praise from Alabama's Nick Saban, Hargreaves possesses the football makeup to become a Pro Bowl cornerback.” – Lance Zierlein (NFL.com)

Hargreaves on what he’s improved on most in college: “I would say my confidence. Not necessarily anything on the field but my thought process and how I go about the game. When I get on the field my mentality is completely different than when I first got here. You have to have a strong mind. You are going to get beat at the next level. You just have to go make the next play. I think I am preparing the right way now in having a strong mindset, a quick mindset, forget things quick and just move on.”
