Gators 365 Podcast: 5 Gators that need a good summer

Bob Redman and Larry Vettel continue their semi-weekly podcast with more on the agenda than you would expect at this time of the year. Listen is as we discuss Florida's satellite football camps, a couple of recruiting notes, five players that we feel need to step up this summer, Florida Baseball, and Florida Softball.

As the Florida Gator football staff heads off in many directions next month to work satellite football camps, they aren't leaving many stones un-turned,  A couple of the place s they will be visiting are New York and Michigan. There is a method to the madness here and Bob and Larry discuss what prime targets the staff will be looking at when visiting these areas.

Florida's latest commitment Kadarius Toney is an Alabama native and just got an offer from the home-state Crimson Tide. What does this mean?  We discuss.

The football team is in the midst of what most coaches will call the most important time of the year. They are mostly on their own in preparation for the upcoming season, yet they are expected to get themselves ready. Bob and Larry discuss the guys we feel really need to step it up this summer for the team to take steps forward in the fall.

Florida's baseball team leads the SEC, but there are four other teams right on the heels. The Gators don't have the easiest finish on the schedule, and that means it will be that more difficult to finish off the deed of winning the conference regular season title. We talk about it.

Finally, the No.1 softball team starts NCAA Tournament play this weekend. The Gators didn't get the best draw for being the top overall seed in the country. This makes for more discussion from Larry and Bob.

Listen in below as we discuss all of this and more.
