It's the start of a very busy month for the Florida staff this month. The Gators are hosting several targets the next few days and will open up camp season. Here is a look at the visitors for the next few days:
Brad Stewart is visiting the Gators on Wednesday. The four-star cornerback from Louisiana has visited Miami recently. Four schools have moved to the top of Stewart's list — Florida, Mississippi State, Mississippi, and Oklahoma.
A Scout 300 wide receiver was on his way to Gainesville Wednesday afternoon. Jerry Jeudy is expected to be on campus by the Wednesday evening and he is set to stay in town through Friday. At the moment Miami and Alabama are the two front runners.
Alex Leatherwood will be in town to visit family, and he is expected to stop by and see the staff this weekend. The Alabama four-star pledge has been a top priority of the Florida staff. Leatherwood has been trending a bit more towards Florida, and the Gators are moving up.
The four-star safety from Alabama will visit with Toney starting on Thursday for a few days. Handy-Holly has visited Florida before in the spring for the Orange and Blue spring game. The Gators are sitting very well with the top playmaker from Alabama. He might still head to 'Bama for a camp, however, that is still up in the air.
Jordon Scott will be on campus for the first time since his commitment to the Gators last week.
Three-star tight end Alexander Marshall from New Hampshire is set to arrive in Florida on June 3rd, Friday. Marshall does not hold an offer from the Gators, but has UF among his leaders along with UCLA, USC, Alabama, and Florida State.
Elijah Blades has consistently called the Gators his dream school. He is set to see Florida for the first time this weekend. The four-star cornerback has a few schools standing out:Arizona, Florida, Nebraska and Utah. He has named June 12th as a possible announcement date. A visit to Gainesville before he plans to decide is good news.
Zechariah Byrd will also be in town this weekend. Scout's No. 21 tight end visited Florida for the spring game earlier this year. Alabama is a threat in Byrd's recruitment. The Crimson Tide will hope to keep him in-state, however, it's good to get the playmaker back on campus so quickly.
Tyrone Truesdell will be on campus on Saturday. The Gators recently offered the defensive tackle this spring. He also has during the spring evaluation Auburn, Clemson, Louisville and South Carolina pursuing him.
Camp Season Arrives
Florida will also hold a 7-on-7 camp and offensive line/defensive line camp on Friday evening. Here are a few schools (and some targets) set to be in attendance.
Dunnellon High School
**Although Shawn Davis will be on campus this Friday, the thought is no decision will be made until he returns next week with both of his parents. ***
Other schools in attendance: Lincoln, Hallandale, and Miramar.null
