Things have been heating up for Aeneas Hawkins. The 2018 defensive tackle from Cincinnati, Ohio, holds offers from: Florida, Notre Dame, Florida State, Iowa State, Kentucky and Tennessee. But more could be on the way as his season approaches.
"It's been a lot. Started to get some Big Ten looks from Michigan State, Ohio State and SEC is still getting me a lot of attention too," said Hawkins.
According to the 6-foot-3, 260-pounder, Notre Dame has been showing "him a lot of interest" lately and has the advantage of being close to home.
On Sunday, the Moeller High standout participated in the Sound Mind Sound Body Camp in Tampa, Florida, where he performed in front of many college coaches including those from: Florida, Penn State, USC, Alabama, Michigan State, Ohio State, Tennessee, Maryland, Rutgers, Mississippi State and Kentucky, just to name a few. The camp was also Hawkins' first opportunity to see Gators defensive line coach, Chris Rumph, since he offered Hawkins a few months back.
Hawkins discusses his plans and where things with new offers, Florida, Florida State, Notre Dame and more in the video above.
