Expected Announcements

Jordan Reid is one of many that will make his announcement at The Opening this month. The four-star offensive lineman is set to choose between: Michigan, Michigan State, Florida, Pitt and Tennessee.

This screams in-state pick-Michigan State or Michigan should be the favorite.

Grant Delpit will also announce his decision at The Opening. Although the four-star safety is expected to choose LSU at the event next week, the former Texas native has transferred to IMG Academy. The proximity to Gainesville will allow Delpit to visit Florida, which he plans to do, even after he has committed to his chosen program. Torrian Gray and Kerry Dixon have done a very good job staying in the conversation with the top defensive back.

Kary Vincent, Jr. is also set to announce on July 10. The No. 2 cornerback in Texas will choose between FloridaFlorida StateTCUTexas A&MAuburn and LSU - but he will take visits after his decision. The Gators does not look like the pick here.

As mentioned on Gator Gauge, it's an uphill battle for Tre McKitty. The IMG Academy tight end looks to be headed to either Oregon or Auburn when he announces at The Opening. Good news, Zech Byrd, another big tight end target for Florida, is trending towards the Gators. Don't forget, UF already holds a commitment from Kemore Gamble

**Note: Before panic ensues, apart from Grant Delpit and Tre McKitty most of the other announcements are lower on the board**

Longer list will be pinned on the thread and updated with new names after holiday weekend.

Gators Still Pursuing Top In-State Safety

Although committed to FSU, Cyrus Fagan is still hearing from Florida. Although the Mainland safety says he is solid with the Noles, he is still listening to UF. The Scout 300 safety hopes to visit Gainesville in the fall, however, it is going to take A LOT for him to flip.

Inside 2018

Here are a few quick updates on a few targets in 2018:

Daquris Wiggins might be a 2018 Miami pledge, however, the Miami Southridge standout is still looking at options, including Florida. The Gators connection to the South Florida high school is growing. The other schools back in the mix for the top wide receiver is Alabama.

Jermaine Eskridge has Miami and Florida as his top two suitors, however, the way the 2018 class is stacked at wide receiver, the Gators have a few other wide outs they want to take first.

IMG Academy wide receiver, Brian Hightower is very high on Florida. The Gators are the team to beat for the receiver right now. Florida State and Miami are also among his top schools.

New Offers

Florida and Georgia are the latest schools to offer four-star linebacker Quay Walker

Three-star offensive tackle, Antwan Reed picked up his offer on Thursday. Reed also holds offers from Michigan, Michigan State, Tennessee, Virginia Tech and Arkansas as his suitors.
