Two Gator freshmen arrested for BB Gun incident

So much for an off-season of staying out of trouble for the Florida Gators football team.

According to reports from the Orlando Sentinel, Florida freshmen receivers Tyrie Cleveland and Rick Wells were arrested early Monday morning on felony charges after being accused of firing BB Guns at the Keys Apartments causing more than $1.000 worth of damage.

According to the Sentinel, both Cleveland and Wells were charged with damaging property of more than $1,000 which is a third degree felony and also shooting  missile into an occupied dwelling, which is a second degree felony,.

Both players are freshmen receivers that arrived on campus less than a month ago. Wells, from Jacksonville and Cleveland from Houston, Texas (originally from Jacksonville) were both expected to compete for playing time in year one.

Wells was the first player committed in the 2016 class and Cleveland the last as he committed and signed on signing day. Cleveland is an Under Armour All-American who is expected to make a big impression on  the offense in his time in Gainesville.
