FLA WR Remains a Hot Prospect

Jemalle Cornelius is a hot prospect from the Sunshine State.

One of the most versatile players from the Sunshine State is Jemalle Cornelius. Cornelius, from Fort Meade (Fla.) High School, is a wide receiver prospect playing quarterback this season. In week one, he accounted for three touchdowns (two rushing, one passing). Last week, he rushed for 156 yards and passed for 149 yards. At this time, he has a slew of offers and he has narrowed it down to seven schools.

"Notre Dame, Auburn, Georgia, Arkansas, Virginia Tech, Clemson and Florida are the schools I like right now," said Cornelius. "Notre Dame, Auburn and Georgia will get official visits for sure. Michigan has really started to recruiting me hard... I mean hot and heavy."

Cornelius, 6-0 and 170 pounds (4.4 forty), is a terrific athlete with good speed and versatility. He has a 3.7 grade point average and has already scored a 960 on his SAT.
