The Gators are set to host a few recruits this weekend, including pair of official visitors.

Florida football is back at The Swamp this weekend, and among the crowd watching the Gators face off against Missouri will be a few recruits and a pair of official visitors. Gator Blitz has the inside scoop.

Florida will finally host a home game at The Swamp this weekend, which means they are able to host recruits once again. This weekend, however, the Gators will also host a pair of official visitors. Here is a breakdown:

The Official Visitors

Anthony Hines is Florida's top linebacker target left on its board. The five-star linebacker was originally set to visit the Gators last weekend for the LSU game, however, due to Hurricane Matthew, Hines quickly rescheduled his official visit to this weekend. According to National Recruiting Analyst Greg Powers, this visit could help UF cement themselves in the fight for Hines.

"The Gators will be able to make a strong play for the five-star from Texas, as it is likely to be the only SEC program that Hines will visit outside of his home state," said Powers. "The No. 1 rated inside backer has already taken official visits to Texas A&M and Penn State and after this weekend he will have two visits remaining. Schools in the mix to most likely land the last two official visits are: Ohio State, Texas, and UCLA."

The Gators will also welcome a top in-state target to Gainesville, four-star center Cesar Ruiz. The IMG standout is taking his third official visit this fall, he has already visited Michigan and North Carolina. His next set visit is to Oklahoma in December. According to Scout's Florida Recruiting Analyst, Corey Bender, the Gators will need to use this visit to spark a revival of sorts.

"All momentum in currently pointing in the direction of the Michigan Wolverines, but Ruiz is not a kid that's going to jump the gun and announce sometime before December, so Florida and Oklahoma will have the opportunity to put on a full display and roll out the red carpet," said Bender. "Ruiz is roughly two weeks removed from a grand slam of a weekend in Ann Arbor, and has already officially visited the North Carolina Tar Heels as well. Florida has been putting on the full court press, and is a suitor that's been consistent for nearly a year.

"Ruiz will either decide in late December or at the prestigious Under Armour All-American Game. I'm liking Michigan's chances right now."

2018 Targets

Although I place Justin Watkins on the list, as of Thursday night this is not 100 percent sure. The four-star running back and Florida State pledge has been trying to visit Gainesville for some time. His recruitment is one to watch, especially if Jimbo Fisher leaves FSU and also considering his previous pledge to LSU.
Lorenzo Lingard is expected to make his second visit to Florida this fall. In his last visit to UF, the Gators made quite the impact. Other schools in the mix are: Florida StateMiami, Alabama and Auburn
Another frequent visitor to The Swamp is Mark Pope. The four-star wide receiver from South Florida is making the journey with his teammates and Florida commits, Kemore Gamble and Shawn Davis
The theme this week it seems is kids returning to The Swamp. Reuben Unije holds offers from plenty, including from Alabama, Georgia, Florida and Virginia Tech among others.
