Mills said the tragedy on September 11th would not effect his decision to leave the state. "No, I'm not worried about traveling and being away from home. I still want to leave the state."
Mills has gotten off to a relatively slow start this season, but not because of anything of his own doing. It seems that his reputation as a big time defensive line prospect proceeds him. "I've gotten about 25 tackles in the first three games, but no one will run at me," Mills added with a laugh. "All of my tackles have been pursuit tackles." At 6'2 and 285 pounds (4.9 forty), it's hard to blame opposing offenses for choosing the path of least resistance.
Mills is an excellent student that projects as a full qualifier. Borderwars.com profiled Mills earlier this summer.
