Former Gator Tim Tebow discusses the SEC title matchup between Florida and Alabama

ATLANTA- Former Gator Tim Tebow discusses what the Gators need to do in order to defeat Alabama for the SEC Championship.

SEC Network analyst Tim Tebow shared his thoughts on the upcoming SEC Title game on Saturday between Alabama and Florida. The Gators' former Heisman Trophy-Winning quarterback admits it will be an uphill battle for Jim McElwain's team.

“I think a lot has to go right, to be honest with you,” he said. “They have to get a few turnovers, I don’t think they can turn the ball over. I think they’ll have to get a defense or a special teams touchdown and find a way to get 13-17 points offensively. I think that would be really hard, so I do think it’s going to be tough, but shoot, that’s why they play the game. That’s not cliche.”

During his time as a player, Tebow made his fair share of motivational speeches to his team. On Friday, he made one to this current Florida squad. His message was simple, Alabama is not unbeatable.

"Listen, you played against the rest of these guys in high school, in US Army All-American games, in Under Armour All-American games and you know who they are....They’re not invincible. Guess what, when you hit them hard enough, they get knocked down, too.”

Tebow discusses the game and the Gators more in the video above.
