James Blackman is not a stranger to Florida. The Florida State quarterback pledge has been to UF's campus before, but is there more now to their relationship?
James Blackman is hearing from Florida. The Florida State quarterback pledge from Glades central has been in communication with the Gators staff, however, he has yet to receive an offer.
"It is going to get finalized this week coming up," Blackman told Scout recruiting analyst Corey Bender.
Blackman attended both Florida's Friday Night Lights and Jimbo Fisher's camp this summer. Although the Gators did not offer, the Seminoles extended a scholarship offer to Blackman after his camp performance. He committed
The 6-foot-5, 165-pounder holds offers from West Virginia, Louisville, Utah, Temple, South Florida, Florida Atlantic and Marshall among others.
He has not visited any other school apart from FSU since he has made his pledge. He is expected to take an official visit to Florida State in January.
