Florida center Cameron Dillard has decided to transfer from Florida

Cam Dillard is on the move. The Florida center announced on Tuesday he is set to transfer from the Gators.

Cameron Dillard is on the move. The center announced on twitter that he will continue his football career away from Florida

"With a lot of consideration and prayer I would like to say that I will not be playing my final year of eligibility at the University of Florida," said Dillard. "I will graduate transfer and pursue my masters. This schools has provided me with a great education and even better friends that I will cherish for the rest of my life. It has been a great ride here with great people surrounding me. 

"I am excited to see what God has in store for my family and I. I am excited for this adventure and thank you to everyone that has had an impact on my life the last four years." 


Dillard had eight starts this season, but was forced to sit out after his injury against Arkansas. The offensive lineman had 19 career starts for the Gators. 

He joins Quincy Wilson and David Sharpe as the latest Gator to announce they will be leaving the program this offseason.
