Recruiting Rewind

It was not a hard decision for Green, the Gators offered the four-star receiver in May, 2015, and then two months later, the Tampa native committed to Florida at Friday Night Lights. Green never seemed to waiver from his pledge to Florida. Although he considered visiting other schools, Green never took any other official apart from his UF official two weeks ago.

"My relationship with them [the UF staff] is strong," said Green,  "because I met all of their families, their sons who play football as well. Me and [UF defensive line coach] Chris Rumph, me and his son can connect... Me and [wide receivers] coach [Kerry] Dixon are really close."

"Green knows how to run, catch, and score touchdowns. You watch him and all he does is run past defenders down the field to catch deep passes," said Scout Analyst Corey Bender.  "He will need to refine hie route running and improve his route tree, but he has the tools you look for in a one or two receiver in college. He has a sudden burst when he gets the ball, he makes good adjustments, and he plays with speed."
