Christopher Henderson is headed to Gainesville. The Scout 200 cornerback committed to Florida on National Signing Day in front of his fellow students at Christopher Columbus High School. The four-star athlete picked the Gators over other finalists Miami and Alabama.
Henderson's last official visit was to see UF two weeks ago.
The official visit "was good. I got to bond with the coaches and we talked about early playing time. Thats very important for me."
A big deciding factor for Henderson was playing time. According to the South Florida native, he has confidence in UF assistant Torrian Gray because he has the stats to back it up.
"I know Torrian Gray really develops great DBs. I know how great their DBs played this year, and they have been doing so good."
Stay tuned with Scout for more on this developing story.
