Egbunu and the Gators welcome Kentucky to Gainesville on Saturday

GAINESVILLE, Fla.-- John Egbunu and the Gators are set to welcome Kentucky to Gainesville on Saturday. The Florida center discusses the game and what UF should expect.

"It's definitely a big game," said John Egbunu about Florida's upcoming game against Kentucky on Saturday. "We all want to come together tomorrow, do our jobs. Definitely got to respect our opponent. We know how good they are. We're going to prepare the right way and tomorrow focus on the right things."

According to the Gators center, a win could move the program in the right direction.

"It definitely would be a big win, especially like for future reference, like getting into the tournament and things like that. It definitely would be a big win for us. But we have to focus in today, getting better in practice today and the rest will take care of itself."

In the last three games, the Gators have defeated its opponents quite handedly, outscoring them by 106 points. This has helped Florida enter the game against the Wildcats with confidence at an all time high.

"We've definitely had some success winning-wise, and I feel like that always helps. You get confidence, and most importantly we've been playing together and playing for one another and our focus has been a lot better," said. "We just want to go out there and do our jobs every given night. Play together, have fun. That's kind of our main focus. We feel like if we do that the other things will take care of itself."
