Florida senior point guard Kasey Hill discusses Gators' 88-66 win over No. 8 Kentucky.

GAINESVILLE, Fla-- Florida point guard Kasey Hill once again leads the way for the Gators. The senior matched a career-high of 21 points to help UF beat No. 8 Kentucky 88-66.

Kasey Hill was hitting on cylinders for Florida on Saturday night. Once again the senior point guard fueled the Gators to another win. Hill matched his career-high of 21 points to help UF beat Kentucky 88-66.

"We were just focused on the game plan and doing what coach told us to do," said Hill after the win.

Hill finished 8-of-16 from the field, while he also recorded six assists and five rebounds in the win over the Wildcats.

"He hit some big jump shots for us,"said Florida head coach Mike White. "I thought he was fantastic. I'm so happy for him and his ability. Not only his ability but the fact that he's stepped up and made some big offensive plays to complement how hard he's playing defensively."

"We just did it together," added Hill.  "This team is a family and it is starting to show with our performance on the court."

Devin Robinson told reporters this win made a big statement, and although Hill agrees with Robinson to an extent, Hill has already moved on.

"It's a big win. But we have a quick turnaround and we have to get ready for Georgia."

Hill talks about the game in more detail in the video above.
