Former Gator Daniel McMillian arrested

Just a few months since playing his last game for the Florida Gators, Daniel McMillian found himself on the wrong side of the law Friday. McMillian was booked into the Gainesville Police Dept. on charges of attempted sexual battery and committed false imprisonment.

According to the report released by the GPD, the female victim entered McMillian’s residence as an employee and for legitimate business reasons. Once inside, McMillian exposed himself, and then tried to grab her and also keep her from leaving.

The report goes on to say that the victim kicked McMillian in the genitals, was able to unlock the door, and run away from the scene where she called police for help.

McMillian was a four year player for Florida at linebacker, but seldom used in his four years except on special teams. He finished his career in 2016 with a total of 65 career tackles and four tackles for loss.
