Gators release post spring injury report

Jim McElwain and the Gators released the post spring injury report on Wednesday and a few players may not be available for the start of fall camp and one quarterback went under the knife on Wednesday.

Florida released its post spring injury report and a few players are not expected to be cleared by the time fall camp beings. According to UF, defensive end Jordan Sherit (knee) and wide receiver Rick Wells will be "reevaluated closer to camp and their status could change prior to the team’s first practice." 

Sherit and Wells were two of 22 players that were limited at one point during spring practice the last few weeks. However, Wells and Sherit are not the only injury news. Florida quarterback Kyle Trask had minor knee surgery on Wednesday, but is expected to recover in four weeks. On the other hand, Camrin Knight also had surgery on Wednesday on his right knee, however, will have surgery on his left knee in May. 

Moral StephensJoseph PutuDuke Dawson and Tyrie Cleveland all suffered minor injuries in the spring game, according to the Florida press release, however, are in rehab and are expected to recover soon as well.
