New coaches means new recruiting areas. The Gators will hit the trail for spring evaluations, so where are their recruiting areas?

Florida coaches will hit the trail for spring evaluations. But with new coaches their area of concentration could be different. FightinGators.com has a quick breakdown on where each coach will recruit.

Florida coaches will hit the trail for spring evaluations. However, with new coaches added to the staff this spring, the recruiting areas are getting a bit of makeover. Where will certain staff members focus their time?

Defensive coordinator Randy Shannon

In Shannon's case nothing is going to change. Since his arrival, the Gators defensive coordinator has recruited South Florida heavily, particularly Dade and Broward Counties. With his connection to Miami, this will still be the case moving forward. However, he will have some help now in South Florida.

Defensive Back Coach Corey Bell

As expected Bell will also feature a lot in South Florida. It is no secret Florida's new defensive back has plenty of contacts in South Florida, and he will continue to use those contacts in that region as he focuses his time in Dade County. Jim McElwain and his staff have also made a point to recruit the state of Georgia, and Bell will join the efforts in Atlanta.

Running Backs Coach Ja'Juan Seider

Bell will not only help in South Florida but also in Atlanta with running backs coach Ja'Juan Seider jumping in the area. Like Bell, Florida's new assistant has strong ties down south. His area will include Broward and Palm Beach counties.

Offensive Coordinator Doug Nussmeier

As expected, the Gators will have plenty of fire power in the Atlanta region, adding the Gators' offensive coordinator in the mix. He will also focus on southwest Florida, i.e. Fort Myers and Naples, as well Pinellas County, an area he has recruited heavily in the past.

Defensive line coach Chris Rumph

Rumph will hope to continue his success in the Tampa area as he will continue to recruit their for the Gators this spring. Like the four coaches previously mentioned, he will also factor into Atlanta as well.

Offensive Line Coach Brad Davis

Davis will feature in south Georgia but in-state Florida's new offensive line coach will head to Polk and Osceola counties.

Linebackers coach Tim Skipper

It is also status quo for Skipper, who is now coaching the linebackers for the Gators. Skipper will still focus on Jacksonville in the state of Florida, while also dipping into Louisiana and Alabama. However, his focus on the panhandle will expand a bit to include the Pensacola region.

Wide Receivers coach Kerry Dixon

Dixon will continue to recruit the Daytona and the Space Coast of Florida, as well as the Houston area. However, with Geoff Collins' departure, he will also dip into the Orlando area as well.

Tight Ends coach Greg Nord

Finally Nord's area has also remained the same.  He will recruit the Panhandle, Tallahassee, Gainesville, and Ocala area as he did previously, however, he will also help in the Nature Coast, while also venturing into South Florida.
